From the tale of a secret narrator, which is revealed in the magazine.

Banbridge is a name that moves me deeply, forever whispering of times long gone by.
The provincial town sits nestled within County Down, Northern Ireland, a stone’s throw from Drumballyroney, and it is here where my path crossed with that of a young boy named Patrick Prunty.

As I first observed him, a concept began to form in my mind, in turn giving way to an idea that would come to shape this child’s destiny.

In time, Patrick would adopt a new surname, Bronte, a name that bore the essence of his spirit and his deep-rooted connection to the Irish Sea. For, in his heart, he carried a love for those vast waters, known in the Irish tongue as “Brantry.”
Interestingly, this is not an English or Irish name, but rather a name of Greek origin, meaning ‘thunder.’

Oh, the strange twists of fate! You may be familiar with the name ‘Bronte’ as it also belonged to the three remarkable sisters, whose literary genius would grace the pages of history and sit firmly on contemporary bookshelves to this day.
These women are in fact Patrick’s daughters, however, like all good plots, these tales must be left to blossom, petals slowly unfurling, in their own time.

Gail grew up in Banbridge. Tucked upon the tranquil banks of the River Bann, the historic town rests amidst the embrace of nature’s beauty.….
